as, which 在非限定性定语从句中的用法区别

      所谓非限定定语从句，就是定语从句与主句用逗号隔开。as, which  都可引导非限定性定语从句。两者的区别在于：as一般放在句首，which用在主句后面。

      例如：
      The sun heats the earth, which is very important to us.　　
      Alice received an invitation from her boss, which came as a surprise.
      The weather turned out to be very good, which was more than we could  expect.
      It rained hard yesterday, which prevented me from going to the park.

      As is know, smoking is harmful to one's health.
      As is known to everybody, the moon travels round the earth every month.
      He was late for school, as/which was usual with him. (他上学迟到，这是家常便饭。)
      He was a foreigner, as/which I knew from his accent. (他是个外国人，我从他的口音中得知这一点。)
